My Thoughts

Review covers 3 chapters

Hello everyone and welcome back to Katie’s Corner! Today is a manga day and I am covering a short, but amazing story. What is the story about? The story starts pretty fast and progresses fast as well, it should, as there are only 3 chapters. Okay, imagine a situation where you’re getting married. The happiest moment of any girls’ life (ideally), but not for Sagiri, why so? Hmm… maybe because she is being married off to her older sister’s fiancé, because her sister ran away. See now, best day ever for Sagiri!

Are you ready to learn more about Sanada family? A family of a 16-year-old wife and 24-year-old husband. I loved this story a lot. I think I’ve read it more than 20 times and every time I read it, I like it more and more. I love Sagiri for her tomb-boy personality and for her exquisite meals. I’m not the greatest cook, but even I can warm up the meal without killing it. She’s pure, but at the same time the way she goes around school listening to girls talk about their boyfriends just cracks you up. I think the best part was when she went to become a man, and was told to become a woman. The okama guy was just fantastic.

Now, let’s talk a bit about Soushi. I can’t say he’s the best male character ever, but he’s definitely one of the best. He’s fun, he can cook (the biggest plus) and okay, he’s a pervert, who tells his 16-year-old wife: “I’m going to do you” when he was mad at Sagiri for wanting to become a man. But the way he confesses is something fantastic. I wish somebody told me that. But then again haven’t heard that yet. I really wanted to see more about those two. I loved their relationship and wanted to see a bit grown up Sagiri. 3 chapters are not enough, especially if Satoru Takamiya does the art and story. He’s fabulous at both.

I hope you’ll find some time to read this great story about two lovers. Enjoy it as much as I did and don’t forget to share your thoughts below! Stay tuned for more reviews as well as promos. Don’t miss your next favourite book or manga! Happy reading!

XOXO
